NOTE: Creating or editing workout templates can only be done on the desktop app.

Creating Your Workout Template
On the menu on the left side of the page, click Workout Templates.
To add a new workout, open your preferred folder, and click the Add Workout Template button.
Type the name of your workout in the popup and click Add Workout Template.
- You will then be directed to the Workout Overview page where you can build your workout.
Adding a Workout Description
Adding a description to your workout provides additional general information or more specific instructions about executing the workout effectively. Click the Edit button to enter edit mode for the workout name, description, and video.
Enter your workout description in the Description field.
- When you're done, click the Save button at the top-right corner of the page.

Adding Exercises to Your Workout
To start adding exercises, click the Add Exercise button, which is found on the lower-left part of the workout builder.
A search box will appear, along with a drop-down menu. Select an exercise from your library, type to narrow your results, or click CREATE NEW to add a totally new exercise. Find more info on creating exercises here: How To Create And Manage Exercises.
Deleting Exercises from a Workout
Note: Deleting exercises from your workout will not affect your exercise library.
To delete an exercise, simply click the kabob icon to the right of the exercise and a dropdown menu will appear.
Click Delete and confirm your choice in the popup that appears.
- You can also choose to Replace the exercise with another from your library.
Adding Exercise Metrics (Properties such as sets, reps, etc.)
To the right of each exercise, you will see a plus (+) icon for adding Metrics such as Sets, Reps, and Weight.
After clicking the plus (+) icon, a metric box will appear.
- Click here and a drop-down list of available properties appears (you can edit which metrics appear in your list on the Metrics page).
- After selecting the property, you can set a an assigned value. You can enter a specific value, a range, or leave it blank if the client is going to determine the value (Weight would be a common metric the client would determine for themselves).
- Then, click the check mark or hit Enter and your entry will be saved. Repeat this process to add multiple properties to the exercise. To Delete a property, hover over it and click the x icon.(Note: If you don't assign any metrics to an exercise, your client cannot enter results for that workout exercise)
Alternatively, you can also add the same metrics to multiple exercises in a workout at one time.
- Start by clicking the plus (+) icon on the upper right side of the metrics. Add as many as you need and set their values.
- Check the boxes next to the exercises you want to assign the metrics to.
- Click the Assign button, and the metrics will be added to the exercises you checked.
Adding Exercise Notes
- To add a note for a workout exercise, click the Add Note area below the exercise. Type your note (for example, you may want to instruct the client to pause at the bottom of a bench press) and click outside the text area to save your changes.
Adding Alternative Exercises
Alternative exercises can be used when you want to provide clients with other options for an exercise, possibly due to limitations or preference.
Clients will be able to select their preferred exercise before or during a workout.
- To start, click the kabob icon to bring up the exercise menu, and select Add alternative.
- Then, select an exercise from your library.
- A notification will appear after you've selected an exercise, and also a badge that indicates how many alternative exercises have been added.
- Click the badge to bring up the alternative exercises menu.
- You can add more exercises, delete them using the x button, or click on an alternative to switch to it and make changes to the metrics or add notes if you wish.
- Note: When you add an alternative exercise, the metrics and assigned values for the original exercise are copied. Exercise notes will not be copied, however.
Organizing your Exercises and Creating Supersets
You can change the order of the exercises in a workout by moving them. To do this, simply click the up-down arrow icon beside the exercise to be moved, drag it up or down, then release. You can also drag and drop the exercise name.
- You can create supersets (or circuits and complexes), by clicking the numbered, colored bubbles to the left of the exercises. Assigning multiple exercises the same number and color will join them together.
- In the image below, you can see the first two exercises joined together as 1A and 1B.
Adding a Warmup or Cooldown
To add a warmup (or cooldown) to your workout, select that option from the tab in the upper right corner, then click the Add Warmup button.
You have the same options and features available as you do in the main workout.
Deleting a Workout
To delete a workout, click the Delete button at the top-right corner of the workout template and confirm your choice.
- You can also delete one or more workouts at the same time from a Workout Templates folder by clicking the box next to the workout(s) and then clicking the Delete button.
Creating a Unique Workout for a Client
To create a unique workout for a client without using a Template, navigate to Clients > {name of client} > Workouts.
Next, click the + Add Workout button.
Enter the name of the new workout in the popup that appears and click “Create”. This creates a blank template and adds it to your client’s list of workouts.
Click the workout once it appears in the client's list of assigned workouts.
